I absolutely love getting nominated for Blogger Awards as it means people are reading my blog, which makes me very happy! I would like to thank the lovely India, owner of Prettypalepeople, for nominating me for this award! Her blog is about (as she says herself) 'Beauty and Fashion with dashings of life thrown in', and if you haven't already, you should definitely go and check her blog out!

Questions from India:

1. What is your favourite cocktail? If you don't drink, mocktail?

To be honest, I've not really explored the world of cocktails. I know, I'm boring. But from the cocktails I have tried, I think I'd have to say .. Sex on the beach. Its a blend of Vodka, Cranberry juice, Peach schnapps and Orange juice. Let me know in the comments what cocktails I need to try! 

2. Do you prefer to eat savoury or sweet?

Both. It really depends what mood I am in at the time. 

3. Whats your favourite book and why?

My favourite author is Annie Groves. My favourite book of hers up to now is Ellie Pride. I love reading romance stories based in World War 1 and 2. Its so interesting to see how people lived back then and I always get so involved in her books and feel like I know the characters. Ellie Pride is a beautiful book and I didn't want it to end! I just wish they would make it into a film now! 

4. Describe the best day of your life so far. 

I think the best day of my life so far was on my 19th birthday. I was in DisneyLand and on my birthday we decided to go into Paris for the day and climb the Eiffel Tower. It was an amazing experience and one that I will never forget!

5. Why did you start blogging/what inspired you to start blogging?

I started blogging because I wanted somewhere that I could write about everything I love and share with everyone my love for crafts, Travel, Beauty and pretty much everything that is on my blog! I started reading a few blogs before I actually made my own, and all of those people who had created beautiful content and who you could tell loved the things they were writing about inspired me to start blogging.

6. Who is your fave blogger and why?

My favourite bloggers at the moment are Elsie and Emma from A Beautiful Mess. Their blog covers home decor projects, crafts, recipes and lifestyle. I just love reading their posts and their blog is so user friendly and easy to navigate through. You should definitely go and have a browse!  

7. Where would your dream destination for the holiday of a lifetime be? 

There are soo many places I would love to travel to and visit it's going to be hard to choose just one! But for the sake of this question I am going to say Bora Bora. It is in the French Polynesia and it looks absoloutly beautiful. With white sandy beaches and crystal clear blue water, it would be a dream to go there! Does anybody want to lend me £3000 so I can go?

8. Why do you love your BFF?

I don't actually have a 'BFF'. I would say my sister is my best friend. Just because she is always there for me no matter what and I can talk to her about anything. And also when we are together, we are like children again! She is just fun to be around and always knows how to make me smile :)

9.What are your dreams/goals for the future?

My dreams/goals for the future are to hopefully earn enough money to leave my job and travel the world. I know everyone says they would love to travel, but it is something I am working towards doing. I also want to start a YouTube channel to go alongside my blog, so hopefully that will be happening soon!

My First Time // Tag

 Ive seen this tag floating around YouTube for a while now and thought it would be fun to do it on my blog, since I don't have a YouTube channel ... Yet. (Hopefully going to be starting one soon!)

So here we go...

FIRST pet - My first pet was a dog (I think) named Rover. I don't really remember that much, but I do remember that he was really playful and I loved him. Thinking back, I don't even know what happened to him! Here is a picture of me and Rover.. 

FIRST job - I got my first job in the September after leaving school. It was actually an apprenticeship and it was in hairdressing. A new salon was opening in town and the boss hired about 9 apprentices. I was sweeping floors, washing clients hair, greeting and serving clients tea/coffee while learning about hairdressing. That didn't last long as I think he decided that he had hired too many apprentices and got rid of like 5 of us. 

FIRST celebrity crush - I wouldn't say it was a 'crush' as such, but when I was younger I was obsessed with Robson and Jerome. I had their CD and their video and apparently I just loved them. I was about 4 years old at the time. I think my first proper celebrity 'crush' was when I was 11 and it was Jeremy Sumpter, who played Peter in Peter Pan. 

FIRST sport you were involved in - I used to be on the athletics team in Primary school. I did running after school some nights of the week. I guess that counts as a sport .. I don't know? Never really been into sports haha. 

FIRST piercing - My first piercing was my ears. I think I was 2 or 3 years old when I had them done. 

FIRST holiday - My first holiday was to Rhodes in Greece. I don't really remember much though as I was was only 2 years old. But my mum says that the flight back home was horrible as we flew through a massive storm, not that I remember any of this. Thank God! 

FIRST room-mate - As I haven't been to University, I suppose my first room mate would be my sister. We had to share a room growing up when my mum had our little brother.

FIRST movie you remember seeing - I don't remember. I do know that I loved all the Disney videos ( as we didn't have DVD's when I was growing up) and that my favourite was always Winnie the Pooh. 

FIRST stuffed toy - I got my first stuffed teddy when I was really little. It's actually Tigger from Winnie the Pooh, (a really old version) and I couldn't sleep without it. I still have it now, and still love it! 

FIRST profile picture - This was my first profile picture 7 years ago. *cringe*

Netfix Favourites

I am someone who loves to snuggle up, with some nice snacks and have a good old Netflix marathon. And I've had plenty! I hate waiting a week for new episodes to come out, so I wait until they are all on Netflix so I can literally just sit and watch the whole series at once. It's better that way. In todays post I am going to share with you some of my favourite series on Netflix. I hope you enjoy! :)

Orange Is The New Black - American Comedy Series
Orange Is The New Black is a Netflix original series that tells the story of Piper Chapman who ends up in jail when her past catches up with her. She is sent to a minimum-security womens prison in Connecticut for her association with a drug runner 10 years earlier. It follows Piper as she adjusts to life behind bars and makes friends with the many 'eccentric, unusual and unexpected' people she meets in there.

Chuck - American Comedy Series 
Chuck Bartowski is a computer who opens an email which has been encoded with vital government secrets , triggering a massive download of critical information to his brain. With assassins and international terrorists eager to get him for the information he has, it falls to Major John Casey and his partner, CIA agent Sarah Walker, to protect the governments newest and most unlikely secret agent.

Life Unexpected - American Drama Series
After 15 years of being with different families in Oregon's foster care system, Lux decides to try her luck as an emancipated minor. As she navigates the legal system in pursuit of that goal, she manages to find her birth father, living like a frat boy at the bar he owns with his two slacker roommates. He is shocked to learn that he has a teenage daughter and introduces her to her, radio personality, birth mother. The judge decides that Lux isn't ready to be emancipated and grants temporary custody to her birth parents.

Breaking Bad - American Crime Drama Series
Walter White, a high school chemistry teacher, thinks his life can't get much worse. He has a pregnant wife, a teenage son who is battling cerebral palsy and his salary barley makes ends meet. But Walter is dumbstruck when he learns he has terminal cancer. Realizing that his illness will probably ruin his family financially, he makes a desperate bid to earn as much money as he can in the time he has left by turning an old RV into a meth lab on wheels.

90210 - American Teen Drama Series
A Kansas family relocate to Beverly Hills, where their two children adapt to the infamous social drama of West Beverly Hills High. This series follows them, and the group of friends they have made, through high school and into college/work. Relationships within the group are tested and loyalties are questioned as their journeys into adulthood lead them in many different directions. The friends try to maintain their closeness in the world-famous zip code, where anything can happen.

Bates Motel - American Drama Thriller Series
After the death of her husband, Norma Bates buys a motel in the picturesque coastal town of White Pine Bay, giving herself and her teenage son Norman a chance at a new start. The Bates discover that White Pine Bay isn't as peaceful as it appears and they are forced to do whatever it takes to survive. Inspired by the seminal 1960 horror film 'Psycho', this series explores the formative years of Norman Bates and how his complicated bond with his mother forged a serial killer.

The Returned - American Supernatural Drama Series
This series follows residents in a small town whose lives are disrupted when people who have been dead for many years begin reappearing, having not aged and unaware of their own fatality. As they attempt to resume their lives, strange things start happening to the people of the town.

Fargo - American Comedy Crime Series
Lorne Malvo is a manipulative man who meets small-town insurance salesman Lester Nygaard and changes his life completely by convincing him get involved in the search for a killer. Leading the search is police Deputy Gus Grimly, a single father who must choose between his own safety and his police duties when the investigation comes to a head. The series is based on the 1996 film of the same name.

American Horror Story - American Horror Series
American Horror Story is an anthology series, a series that presents a different story line and a different set of characters in every season. You can find out more about this series by clicking here.

I've probably missed some off this list, so these aren't the only series I have watched on Netflix. But they are the ones that stuck in my head and that I really enjoyed watching!

1. What/who inspired you to start your blog? Before I started my blog, I used to read other peoples. I loved the fact that they had somewhere to write about what they loved! So I thought I would start my own. I am so happy I did as I enjoy it so much .. and I didn't realise how big and friendly the blogging community actually was!

2. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be and why? This is easy .. I would change my hair. I would have long, thick hair with natural beach waves! I get so jealous of people who have naturally beautiful hair. Mine is just thin and flat and I can't do anything with it! :(  

3. What is your favourite quote? 'Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, It's about learning to dance in the rain!'

4. Who is your biggest inspiration? I don't really have one specific inspiration. Alot of people inspire me in different ways! 

5. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose? I would choose ... Beverly Hills, California. Definitely.  It is such a beautiful place and I would love to live there!

6. What is your favourite colour? This literally changes all the time! At the minute I am loving pastel colours. They are really soft and pretty and the perfect colour for spring!

7. Do you prefer cats? ... Or dogs? This is such a hard question as I love them both! Cats are more independent whereas dogs are more loyal! I don't know the answer to this question. I love them both equally :) 

8. What is the one item you cannot live without? My phone. I feel lost if I don't have my phone with me!

9. What is your favourite genre of music? I like all types of music .. but I think my favourite would have to be pop music. Like stuff that's in the charts. I also like summer tunes!

10. What is your dream career? To be Blogging or a Youtuber full time. I always wanted to be a model growing up, but I did nothing about that. Or a beauty therapist. 

11. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Hopefully blogging full time, with my own Youtube channel. Living in my dream house and being able to drive!

7 Fun Facts About Me

This is an odd one, but its still a fact. I am not interesting at all and I am actually finding it really hard to think of 7 fun facts about myself! Haha!

I lived in the same house that I grew up in for 15 years and my mum still lives there now. 

I tend to change my hair colour and style ALL the time! I get bored very quickly.

I tried to start my own craft business last year (2014) and completely failed as I had no idea what I was doing or how to start a business. 

I can get really passionate about something and research it for months.

I researched my Family Tree and managed to get all the way back to the 1600's. I even found some living relatives that we never knew we had and got in contact with them. Hopefully we'll get to meet one day!

I love to go on activity days out and I will try anything once. Except bungee jumping or skydiving. You won't get me doing those!

1.Who inspires you?
People who inspire me are Jemma, because through doing her blog, she has been able to follow her dreams and thats something I aspire to do one day, and I'm going to have to say Zoella. I mean, who wouldn't want to be where she is from Blogging/Vlogging?!

2.Tea or Coffee?
Coffee. The only time I will have a cup of tea now is when I fancy dunking some biscuits! 

3.Dogs or Cats?
I can't decide between them! I'm going to have to say both :) I already have a cat, but I would love to get a little puppy!

4. Favourite Blogs?
There are lots. uponmysleeve, laurieelle and littlemissfii .. Just to name a few!

5.Favourite Food?
I have always loves pie, chips and gravy with lots of vinegar. You may think I'm weird, but it tastes Amazing! If it was fruit I was talking about .. It would have to be Pineapple! 

6.Favourite part/post on your blog?
My favourite post would have to be my DisneyLand Paris post! It bought back so many good memories from my holiday! 

7.How you found out about/why you started blogging?
I actually started reading blogs only last year! I loved reading them and thought it would be fun to have somewhere I could write about all the things I love and am passionate about. Like my own little journal. And thats why I started my blog. :)

8.If I was to give you £100,000 right now, what would be the first thing you'd do/buy?
I would definitely buy a ticket to travel the world! I'd first travel around America, then Australia and New Zealand and everywhere else along the way. I'd also buy a big house and a nice car .. and all the clothes/makeup I could carry! 

9.Friends you've made through blogging?
Ive not been blogging too long so I talk to alot of people but not sure they would class me as a 'friend' yet. I really hope I do make some friends through blogging and get to meet them in person though. That would be amazing!

10.Best and worst parts of blogging?
The best part would be writing about things I'm passionate about and of course the blogging community! It's like one big family! :) I haven't actually come across anything I don't like about blogging. Apart from the fact I can't do it full time!

11.One piece of advice you'd give other newbie bloggers?
Definitely interact! Interact with other bloggers big and small. You get so much support from other bloggers and they help inspire you! Join the community and get involved in the chats on Twitter!

21 Questions || Get to know me Tag

Hi Everyone! :)

Today I thought I would do a 'Get to know me Tag'. I think it's good to get to know the person behind the blog a bit more, and this is a perfect way to do that! I have enjoyed reading everyone else's and I hope you enjoy reading mine. Maybe we will have some-things in common!

1. Do you have a middle name? 
 I don't have a middle name. Just my first name and last name.

2. Do you have any pets?
 I have a beautiful one year old cat named Ziggy, and two terrapins named Wiz and Squirt. I would love to get a puppy aswell!

3. Favourite Holiday?
 Now this question can have two different meanings. Holiday has different meanings in English and American, so I'll answer both! My favourite holiday that I've been on would probably be DisneyLand Paris. I went for my 19th birthday 4 years ago in November and it was so magical! I loved it! - My favourite holiday during the year would have to be Christmas . I love everything about it! Its the best time of the year!

4. Do you speak any other language?
 You would think I would since I did French as a GCSE at school. But no. Unfortunately I can't. I was not good at French then, and I'm not any better now. I would love to be able to speak another language though!

5. How many siblings do you have?
 I have 3 siblings. I have an older sister and two younger brothers.

6. How tall are you? 
 I am 5'4 and the tallest girl on my mums side of the family!

7. Eye Colour?
 I have Hazel eyes.

8. Any Tattoos?
 Yes. I have 4 tattoos. At the bottom of my back, on the back of my neck, on my ribs and on the inside of my wrist. I do want another one though!

9. What shoe size are you? 
 It depends on what shoes I am wearing. If I wear heels I am a size 3, but everything else I am a 4.

10. Do you drive?
 I wish! No I don't drive. Yet. I am hoping to get my licence when I can afford it!

11. Who are some of your favourite YouTubers?
 I actually have quite a few! Eva on mylifeaseva, Sara on SaraBeautyCorner, Zoe on zoella and Jesse and Jeana on  BFvsGF just to name a few!

12. How old will you be turning on your next birthday? 
 I will be 23 years old on my next birthday! :|

13. Hobbies?
 Painting my nails, DIY crafts, reading, staying fit and of course Blogging!

14. Will you ever Bungee Jump?
 Nooo!! I am terrified of heights so throwing myself of a bridge (or whatever you jump off) is not on my list of things to do. What if the cord snapped?!? No thank-you.

15. Favourite cereal? 
 Coco Pops. For sure! I love drinking the chocolate milk afterwards too! ... I'm such a child haha!

16. Summer or Winter?
 Definitely summer! I don't like being cold so me and winter do not get on. The only thing I like about winter is Christmas time ... and it's my birthday in winter!

17. Scary movies or Happy endings?
 I love a good scary movie, but I also love a happy ending! So I would have to say both. It really depends on what mood I am in.

18. If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
 America. I have always wanted to travel around America. I don't really have a reason why, it's just something I want to do! Especially California!

19. What's your Zodiac sign?
 I am a Scorpio.

20. Do you wear any king of jewellery 24/7?
 I do. I wear a silver heart locket necklace my boyfriend got me for my 21st birthday, and my Great Nannas' ring.

21. Do you have any phobias? 
 Spiders. In fact any kind of insect, I freak out if I see one near me! And heights. I just freeze and can not move if I am somewhere high. I think I'm just scared of falling. It won't stop me from having fun and experiencing things though! Even if it does mean I have to overcome my fear!

British Tag!!

Hi everyone!

I have seen a lot of bloggers and Youtubers doing 'The British Tag' and I have enjoyed reading/watching their answers. As I am British I thought I would have a go at doing it myself. 

Hope you enjoy!

1. How many cups of tea do you have a day? How many sugars?

I don't actually drink tea. I know, not very British of me at all. I used to drink tea all the time, but then I started drinking coffee. I did have a coffee every morning as a kind of 'wake up' drink. I don't actually drink that much coffee anymore either, but if I do, I have 2 sugars. 

2. Favourite part of your roast?

All of it. I have always loved a good Sunday roast, ever since I can remember! We used to go to my Nanna's every Sunday for a roast, and my Nanna cooks the best roast ever! And I always have to have mince sauce. I know your only meant to have it with pork, but I have it on all my roasts. Yum! 

3. Favourite dunking biscuit? 

This was a hard one because I like to dunk a lot of biscuits. The only reason I will have a cup of tea is if I fancy dunking some biscuits. I would have to narrow it down to two ... Chocolate Bourbons or Rich tea biscuits. 

4. Favourite quintessentially British past-time?

Now I didn't even know what 'quintessentially' meant! So yes, I googled this question to see what came up. Out of them all I think I would have to say Afternoon Tea. I have never actually been for afternoon tea, but I have been for tea and scones. We went to this beautiful little shop that does serve afternoon tea, but we got bought tea and scones for two as a Christmas present. It had a lovely vintage vibe to it and I just loved it! 

5. Favourite Word?

My favourite word would probably have to be 'Toodle-Pip', which means goodbye/see you later. It just sounds funny to say and sounds very 'posh'. 

6. Cockney Slang?

I don't know that many Cockney Slang phrases as I'm not from London. But here are some that I do know..

7. Favourite sweet?

My favourite sweets would definitely have to be Haribos and Maoams. 

8. Favourite shop/restaurant? 

My favourite shop would probably have to be John Lewis. Just because it has everything there! There are so many floors and so much to buy, I could spend all day there. And it is always beautifully decorated and has amazing TV adverts at Christmas time! 

9. Marmite? 

No. Just no. You either love or hate marmite, and I hate it! It is disgusting! It doesn't even look nice!
