'Daisy' Floral Textured Cap Sleeve Dress // BoutiqueofMolly

My third order arrived from Boutique of Molly yesterday .. and I am really happy with it! After my first two posts on items I've purchased from Boutique of Molly, I was asked if I would like to work with them again! I was super happy and excited as they have some new clothing items in stock that are so nice! So once again I jumped at the chance and ordered a beautiful dress.

The dress I decided to go for was the 'Daisy' Floral Textured Cap Sleeve Dress. It comes to just above your knees and it is a body con style dress so fits nicely to your body shape. It is black and has a beautiful floral pattern all over it. Its perfect for going out for chilled drinks or a meal with friends or family, or for date night as its fitted so compliments your curves (Not that I'm that curvy). I ordered this in the size up from my normal size, and it fits perfectly!

I absolutely love this dress and can't wait to have an excuse to wear it out!

Nail Tutorial #4

I love doing my nails and making them look pretty with different patterns and nail art, but recently I've not been doing them that much. As I have had a week off work this week, I decided I would get back into doing my nails again! If you have followed my blog from the beginning, you will know that I started my blog off by doing nail art tutorials .. In fact my first 4 posts are all about nails! If you haven't seen them, here is my first ever post - Easy Nail Art Tutorial

This time I decided to keep it simple and just put a pattern on my ring finger as an accent nail. Here's what I did..

First of all I put a base coat on my nails and then I painted them all white. This is optional, but I think painting them white before adding colour makes the colour pop more!

Once the white nail varnish was dry, I painted my thumb, pointer and middle finger nails a light pink, and I painted my pinkie nail light green. I did two coats on each finger, just to make sure they all had full coverage.

For my accent nail, I painted the bottom corner of my nail (nearest my little finger) green, then I used my dotting tool and made three dots at the top of the green polish, and four smaller dots in pink just above it.

I then went back to my white nail polish and made three dots on the green polish, and last but not least, I put four smaller pink dots on top of the white dots.

I then went over all of my nails with a top coat and I was done!

Do you like doing your nails?

Thank you for stopping by to have a read of my blog, whether your new or you've been here before, I'd love to know what you think!

Much Love..

My First Time // Tag

Ive seen this tag floating around YouTube for a while now and thought it would be fun to do it on my blog, since I don't have a YouTube channel ... Yet. (Hopefully going to be starting one soon!)

So here we go...

FIRST pet - My first pet was a dog (I think) named Rover. I don't really remember that much, but I do remember that he was really playful and I loved him. Thinking back, I don't even know what happened to him! Here is a picture of me and Rover..

FIRST job - I got my first job in the September after leaving school. It was actually an apprenticeship and it was in hairdressing. A new salon was opening in town and the boss hired about 9 apprentices. I was sweeping floors, washing clients hair, greeting and serving clients tea/coffee while learning about hairdressing. That didn't last long as I think he decided that he had hired too many apprentices and got rid of like 5 of us.

FIRST celebrity crush - I wouldn't say it was a 'crush' as such, but when I was younger I was obsessed with Robson and Jerome. I had their CD and their video and apparently I just loved them. I was about 4 years old at the time. I think my first proper celebrity 'crush' was when I was 11 and it was Jeremy Sumpter, who played Peter in Peter Pan.

FIRST sport you were involved in - I used to be on the athletics team in Primary school. I did running after school some nights of the week. I guess that counts as a sport .. I don't know? Never really been into sports haha.

FIRST piercing - My first piercing was my ears. I think I was 2 or 3 years old when I had them done.

FIRST holiday - My first holiday was to Rhodes in Greece. I don't really remember much though as I was was only 2 years old. But my mum says that the flight back home was horrible as we flew through a massive storm, not that I remember any of this. Thank God!

FIRST room-mate - As I haven't been to University, I suppose my first room mate would be my sister. We had to share a room growing up when my mum had our little brother.

FIRST movie you remember seeing - I don't remember. I do know that I loved all the Disney videos ( as we didn't have DVD's when I was growing up) and that my favourite was always Winnie the Pooh.

FIRST stuffed toy - I got my first stuffed teddy when I was really little. It's actually Tigger from Winnie the Pooh, (a really old version) and I couldn't sleep without it. I still have it now, and still love it!

FIRST profile picture - This was my first profile picture 7 years ago. *cringe*

I hope you enjoyed reading this post! I tag anyone who wants to do it, I'd love to read them!

What are some of your answers to these 'FIRSTS'? Let me know in the comments :)

Thanks for stopping by.

Much Love..

Boutique of Molly // Belle Tartan Check Trousers

As you may have seen (if you read my blog) I was asked to work with Boutique of Molly. You can find my first post all about this here. After I got my first post up, I was lucky enough to be asked to work with them again! I obviously said yes, I mean, have you seen their clothes? So this is my second post about another item of clothing that I purchased off their website.

I have never had any tartan clothes before, but I decided to take the plunge and get their Tartan Check Trousers. I didn't really know what to expect, but when they came and I tried them on .. I actually love them! I got them in a size 8 and they fit just nicely. They're not too tight and they are stretchy so you can move around easily in them and they are super soft. I can honestly say they are one of the most comfortable pair of trousers that I own! They have an elasticated waist band, which makes them quick and easy to get on, and there are two front side pockets.

These trousers can really be dressed up or down, depending on when you wear them. With a nice pair of black heels, I think these would be perfect for a night out, or a meal, and with a pair of flat shoes, they are perfect for daytime!

I paired mine with some flat dolly shoes from Select, and a black shirt also from Select.

June Favourites // ❤️

I can not believe how fast this year has gone already! I mean it's already July .. what?!? As I haven't done one of these posts before, I thought it would be fun to do a post about what I've been loving in June.

Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Cleansing and Toning Lotion

I have been using this morning and night and it makes my skin feel feel so soft and super clean. I use this towards the end of my skincare routine, just before I moisturise my face. Even after I think I have cleaned my face properly, when I use this, it gets deep into your pores and removes dirt you didn't even know was there! This is definitely a favourite and I will be replacing this when I run out.

Garnier Moisture + Matte Daily Oil-Free Moisturiser

For me, this is the best moisturiser for my skin that I have found so far. I have it for combination to oily skin, and it works really well. I only need to use a tiny bit to be able to moisturise my whole face! It doesn't make your face look shiny and it soaks straight into your skin and leaves it feeling smooth. And it smells really nice! I got this when it was half price, just to try it, but I think I'll be paying the full price now as I will be buying this again.

Witch Naturally Clear Blemish Stick

I have been using this if I feel any spots coming on. As soon as I see a little bump on my face or feel a painful spot coming on, I just dab this stick onto it and it gets rid of it a lot quicker than if I just left it. It seems to stop it from getting any bigger and really does help alot! You can dab it on as and when required, as many times as you like. And it is the perfect size to keep with you in your handbag!

Magnitone Lucid Daily Cleansing & Exfoliation brush

I have been loving my Magnitone Lucid ever since I was lucky enough to win it in The Bloggers Life competition! I have been using it as part of my morning skincare routine. I just apply a face wash to my face, then use my Magintone, starting on my forehead for 20 seconds until it beeps, then onto my cheeks for 10 seconds each and finally my nose and chin for the last 20 seconds. My skin has been looking so much better and brighter since using this!

Dove Oxygen Moisture for Fine, Flat hair - Shampoo and Conditioner

I unfortunately haven't been blessed with thick, long, luxurious hair, so I have tried everything I can think of to help add volume to my hair. This shampoo does help as its not heavy on your hair so doesn't weigh it down. It also helps when I hold my head upside down to dry my hair, but I do think this shampoo and conditioner has helped my hair look and feel more thicker and more voluminous.

Black Dolly Shoes

These dolly shoes I got from Select a few months ago and I have been loving them recently.  They are quick and easy just to put on and they go with pretty much everything as they are black. They also have a gold stripe going across the front and a gold line going around the back of the heel to add a bit of detail. Simple but stylish!

Finger and Thumb Rings

Recently I have been loving wearing a ring on my middle finger and one on my thumb! I also have midi rings to wear. I feel like they look very bohemian, and I love that look. It reminds me of festivals (even though I have never been to one), but I just love the look!

Axwell /\ Ingrosso - Something New

I have been loving this song recently! Its just such a happy and summery song and it puts me in a good mood when I listen to it. And you can sing along to it .. which is always good!

I hope you enjoyed this post .. I know its a bit late, but better late than never ay? What have you been loving this past month?

Much Love..
